I think, sometimes it’s easy to forget how good this book is. Waid and Samnee have been delivering a brilliant book month after month, one that (thankfully) is quite separate from the larger Marvel universe. This allows it to tell smaller, more personal tales and I suppose this smaller scale means I can forget that every issue of this book is pretty perfect.
GOTHAM BY MIDNIGHT 2
The first issue was rather good and while this follow up isn’t quite as good it ain’t half bad. Wrapping up the main points from the first issue while expanding on the overall plot and a few of our primary characters. I’m a fan of Ben Templesmith’s art and it suits this book perfectly, but I can understand that it’s not for everyone. It’s not you’re standard superhero art, but this is not your average superhero book.
